The SteelHawks square off against the Winston Wildcats in a rematch as the second half of a home-and-home.  The Wildcats have had difficulty scoring points thus far in the 2016 campaign.  It doesn’t get any easier for them today as they have to deal with the SteelHawks’ formidable defense.  Players to watch for the Wildcats include WR #80 CJ Tarver and DB #25 LaMarcus Bond.

Game Notes, From Kram’s Korner:

  • Despite Winston’s offensive struggles this season, playing them twice in a row is not an easy proposition.  Expect this to be a “kitchen sink” game for the Wildcats–look out for trick plays and any other thing they can think to do to get on the board.
  • QB Jake Jablonski has secured the signal caller position.  Clay Belton now backs him up, but was forced into action in the last contest when Jablonski was nicked up.  Jablonski should be good to go in this game, from what I’ve heard.
  • WR Brandon Renford is back, after missing a game with injury. He was a major factor last week catching six passes for 55 yards, leading all receivers in the game.

See you at the arena,
