An Army Rising in the East

Many years ago, the Bethlehem Steel FC played at East End Field in Bethlehem.  Now, an army of fans taking the East End name will stand in support of the new Steel FC:

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (March 29, 2016) — The East End Army will be the official supporters group for Bethlehem Steel FC, the club announced today.

“The fan support we have received before even playing a match at home is incredible and we could not have anticipated it,” Bethlehem Steel FC head coach Brendan Burke said. “We are looking forward to seeing the East End Army at the home opener and experiencing the atmosphere at Goodman Stadium.”  Follow the East End Army on Twitter @EastEndArmySG.

Mark Cole, President of the East End Army, channeled his enthusiasm for the new team into starting the group. Cole made a Facebook group for the East End Army, which is now over 430 members.

The East End Army will cheer the team on from their own section, The Forge, inside Goodman Stadium at Lehigh University. Before each home game, the group will also host a tailgate in a specifically designated area of the parking lot for their members.

East End Army memberships are available now for $27 and include access to the Supporters tailgate, an East End Army scarf and other exclusive items, as well as access to purchase seats in The Forge.  A portion of every ticket purchased in The Forge throughout the 2016 season will be donated back to The East End Army. Fans interested in joining the inaugural supporters group can register by calling 1-844-STEELFC.
