BETHLEHEM, Pa. (March 23, 2016) — After an online vote via the club’s Twitter account, fans selected Steel Soccer 360 as the name of Bethlehem Steel FC’s weekly magazine show. The first episode will air tonight at 5:30 p.m. on Service Electric Cable TV2.
“We appreciate all of the fans’ involvement and input in naming the show,” said Bethlehem Steel FC Managing Director Rich Searls. “Steel Soccer 360 is an excellent platform to share our story and latest news with fans, and we are looking forward to seeing the first episode tonight.”
Steel Soccer 360 received 68 percent of the fan votes beating Steel FC Soccer Weekly and Bethlehem Steel Soccer Weekly.
The show will air every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., Thursday at 10 p.m. and Friday morning at 11 a.m. Service Electric TV2’s Steve Degler and Dan Fremuth will host the show with Gwen Begley as the feature reporter.
The first episode will highlight Bethlehem Steel FC’s first signing and Philadelphia Union Academy product Derrick Jones.
Bethlehem Steel FC will start their inaugural season on Friday, March 25 at FC Montreal and will officially open their doors at Lehigh University’s Goodman Stadium the following week on Sunday, April 3 against FC Cincinnati with a 3 p.m. scheduled kickoff.
