Last Week:

The SteelHawks lost their rematch with Columbus, down in Georgia, by a 45-35 margin.  Trenton went down the Alabama to beat the Hammers 57-36.

Today’s Game:

Kickoff:  3:00PM

Tickets:  Good seats are still available.  Purchase at the box office, or at PPLCenter.com

Promo:  Free sport bottle for the first 1,500 fans–sponsored by Embassy Bank.

What To Watch:

Hammers:  Watch for a high-flying passing attack behind the arm of veteran indoor QB Garrett Sutphen.  His two main targets, wideouts Charlie McClain and Mico McSwain are among the league-leaders in receiving and receiving TDs.  Thus far, this team hasn’t been much of a threat to run the ball, and has been mediocre on defense.  On special teams, McClain is also among the league-leaders in return yardage.

SteelHawks:  Zach Zulli was taking snaps last week for the banged up Shane McSweeny.  Watch to see who is behind center today–we’re in good hands either way.  Look for Big Larry Ford–the PIFL sack leader–and Gerard Bryant to get after the quarterback.  Look for a ball-hawking secondary led by Jesse Cooper and Joe Powell to pick off a couple passes.

    • Good stuff RD, thanks! Also of note: it’s “Hero’s Day” and military members receive 10% off at the door with your military ID. The halftime performance will be by Valley Elite cheerleaders.
