Steelhawks Lose Star Quarterback!

Well, it happens.

As minor league baseball fans we know the bigger teams can come calling and to the Steelhawk’s fans the Arena Football League’s Pittsburgh Power are saying, “That just happened!”

Bryan Randall heading to the AFL's Pittsburgh Power

Quarterback Bryan Randall was granted his release by the Steelhawks when the starting QB job for the Pittsburgh Power was offered to him. While us Steelhawk fans will greatly miss Randall and the excitement that he brought to this team, it is a great opportunity for Bryan and we wish him the best.

So without looking back any further, let’s look ahead.

The Steelhawks will look to Billy Winters to step in and fill Randall’s cleats. Winters, who has not played yet this season due to scheduling issues, has played for Coach Thompson in the past. He was most recently the back up quarterback for the Reading Express last season.

Good Luck Bryan! We’ll miss you!

Welcome Billy! Make us proud.. we promise to be loud!
